Family affected by liver disease

About us

Harrison is our five-year-old who has Alagille syndrome. He has been awaiting a liver transplant for 16 months and had other surgeries previously. He has been under the care of Birmingham Children’s Hospital since he was three weeks old and we feel part of the Liver UK family. Read more on our story here.

Why Liver UK matters

We have had support all along the way from Liver UK in so many ways including information for Harrison’s nursery and school. They hold a special place in our family’s hearts and we are forever grateful that they are always there for families like ours. We’ve been able to show our support too. Our sister-in-law did a half marathon for the charity, Harrison’s school raised money through a colour run this year and we’ve taken part in awareness videos. The people in this charity are angels, and we appreciate everything that they do.

Please consider making a donation to support Liver UK, their support for families is funded by the generosity of supporters like you.
