Take part in the British Liver Trust patient survey 2024

May 2, 2024

We’ve launched a patient survey to gather insights from individuals diagnosed with liver disease – although family members or carers can fill it out on behalf of their loved ones.

Our aim is to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences if you or someone close to you has a liver condition. This will help us address current issues and enhance the services we provide.

Through this new survey, we’re seeking to learn more about your experiences with diagnosis, treatment, and care.

If you or a loved one has been impacted by liver disease or liver cancer, your input is invaluable to us. Here’s how your participation can make a difference:

  1. Enhancing care and support: Your feedback will guide us in identifying areas where we can improve our services to better meet your needs.
  2. Advocating for improved services: Your insights will support our efforts to advocate for better services, treatment, and early detection of liver disease and liver cancer.
  3. Driving positive change: By sharing your experiences, you’ll contribute to our ongoing efforts to influence policy decisions and drive positive change in liver healthcare.

We’ll also use the findings in our communications with media and other influencers to raise vital awareness.

Could you spare some time to complete the online survey? It should take no more than 10 to 15 minutes.

The survey covers various aspects of the care you’ve received, such as whether you experienced symptoms prior to diagnosis, how quickly you were seen, and whether you felt your disease and care were clearly explained.

Your responses will enable us to better understand your experiences so that we can improve our services and more effectively advocate on behalf of everyone with liver disease. Additionally, we’ll provide feedback to healthcare professionals to collaboratively work on improving standards of care. All responses will be anonymous, and the results will be benchmarked against a patient survey we conducted in 2019.
