Improving outcomes

Make early diagnosis routine

Our Make early diagnosis routine campaign aims to ensure that there are effective early diagnosis pathways for adult liver disease in every part of the UK.  As well as lobbying nationally and regionally on this issue we drive awareness and provide essential tools and knowledge to support primary care professionals.

Shining a light on rare liver diseases

No one left behind

Rare liver diseases affect thousands of adults and children, and their families, across the UK, yet many people still face delays in diagnosis, limited access to specialist care and a lack of understanding. Our No one left behind campaign is raising awareness of lesser known conditions, amplifying patient voices and calling for improving treatments and care.

Improving early detection of liver disease in babies

Yellow Alert

Our Yellow Alert campaign is helping to improve the early identification of liver disease in babies by raising awareness of baby jaundice and providing trusted information for parents and healthcare professionals.

Improving prevention and early diagnosis

Love Your Liver

Our Love Your Liver campaign empowers people with the knowledge and practical advice they need to understand the importance of liver health, reduce their risk of liver disease and take positive action.

Through our Love Your Liver Roadshow, we also bring liver health checks and expert advice to communities across the UK.

Changing attitudes

Stamp out stigma

Stigma can stop people seeking help, delay diagnosis and leave people feeling isolated. We’re raising awareness, challenging misconceptions and calling for a future where people with liver disease are supported, not judged.

Shining a light on liver cancer

Liver cancer awareness month

Through Liver Cancer UK, we raise awareness of liver cancer throughout the year by sharing trusted information, championing earlier diagnosis and supporting people affected by liver cancer. Every October, we lead Liver Cancer Awareness Month to help more people recognise the signs and symptoms of liver cancer.

Awareness and support

Hepatitis B: breaking the silence

The campaign aims to empower people affected by hepatitis B to challenge stigma, educate healthcare professionals and the public, and raise awareness of the impact stigma can have on individuals, families and communities.
