Alongside NHS England, and other charities including Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Terrence Higgins Trust, we’ve signed an open letter to people in England aged 12 and over with a weakened immune system, encouraging them to come forward for a spring booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Director of Communications and Policy at the British Liver Trust Vanessa Hebditch said: “Liver disease patients are among the highest risk groups when it comes to COVID-19 and the vaccine is the best form of protection for them against the virus.”
