Charlina

Advocate for young people with liver disease

About me

I’m Charlina. I’m 24-year-old care worker. I was born with focal nodular hyperplasia and received a liver transplant when I was a child. I take any opportunity I can to advocate for other young people with liver disease. More of my story is here.

Why Liver UK matters

Liver UK is important to me as it has connected me to with other young people who live with liver disease and liver transplant. They have helped me navigate my life and advocated for me in difficult situations when having a liver disease and being post-transplant has presented me with problems.

Please consider making a donation to support Liver UK, their young people’s support service is funded by the generosity of supporters like you.
