Jonathan has worked for the charity since 2017. He plays a key role leading our events, engagement and outreach teams. He manages our Love Your Liver roadshow, taking our mobile unit all over the country to raise awareness and provide risk factor checks and liver health scanning. The programme encompasses public events on the high street, corporate and workplace visits. It also draws together work from across the organisation, particularly with our communications and policy activity to help us showcase, educate and drive change at parliamentary, policy and planning level.
With team members located across the UK, the outreach team provide both regional and national focus to deliver a package of work to promote liver health awareness, advance the profile of liver health and support people affected by liver disease and liver cancer. Delivery activities include health promotion events, workplace education, representing the charity at key stakeholder events and most importantly of all running our patient support groups. Prior to joining the charity, Jonathan had extensive experience working in the event management sector.
