Rachel qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007, during a period of 12 years working at BDO LLP, where she specialised in the audit of charities. From 2016 to 2025 Rachel worked at a children’s literacy charity, as Finance Manager and then Finance & Operations Director. During this period Rachel also held many consultancy roles in small to medium sized charities, helping to improve Finance, Operations and Governance functions. Joining our charity in 2025, Rachel is responsible for the financial, resourcing, risk and compliance aspects of the organisation’s work.
